Mariel Levine is a licensed interior designer with more than a decade of experience working in some of New York City’s leading design studios, including AD100 firms. Over the course of her career, she has designed luxury hotels, private residences, and highly customized interiors for prominent brands and clients, gaining invaluable experience in every part of the process—from sourcing and styling to fabrication and construction. She founded DeHart Design to bring that experience to a more personal and collaborative way of working. Mariel believes the best interiors should feel beautiful, comfortable, and deeply individual—layered with thoughtful materials, meaningful details, and pieces that reflect the people who live there.

Design that starts with you.

I created Dehart Design for people who want their spaces and brands to feel like an honest extension of who they are—not a version of someone else’s idea of beautiful.

My approach is intuitive, collaborative, and grounded in the details that make a life feel lived in. We begin with what matters to you: the rituals, references, memories, and small moments you want to hold onto.

From there, I shape a clear visual direction that feels warm, considered, and unmistakably yours.

What I bring to the table

Thoughtful direction for the details that matter.

Whether you are shaping a home, refining a brand, or finding the thread that ties it all together, the work is designed to feel clear, personal, and considered.

Interior direction

A cohesive point of view for spaces that need warmth, clarity, and a sense of ease.

Brand and visual identity

A visual language that helps your business or creative work feel recognizably yours.

Creative consultation

Focused guidance for the moments when you need a trusted creative perspective.

Guiding values

A point of view rooted in care.

Listen closely

The strongest work comes from paying attention to the people, places, and stories already present.

Lead with intention

A thoughtful point of view makes every choice feel connected, from the first idea to the final detail.

Make room for warmth

Beauty should support real life—welcoming, useful, and made to be lived with.
